Comfort Can Ruin Drive

Comfort is great. It some cases, comfort is good because it is an opportunity to rest and recuperate.

But, like many things, when comfort becomes excessive, it can become problematic.

In excess, comfort can ruin drive and harm productivity.

Do you constantly opt for comfort rather than the mild discomfort that often accompanies self-improvement? If your answer is yes, you are on a path of self-obstruction.

You are obstructing your own path forward, your path towards self-betterment.

If you choose to be comfortable rather than working, you compromise productivity. If you choose the comfort of wasting time over the discomfort of making the most of it, your comfort is ruining you.

It spills over even to health. Treating yourself once in a while shouldn’t be a problem.

But, for example, if you constantly choose the comfort of eating junk food over eating a healthier meal, your comfort is (again) ruining you.

Don’t ruin your way forward with comfort.

Use hard work to achieve comfort later.

The harder you work in your present and the more you voluntarily take on necessary discomfort, the better chance you have for a comfortable future.

Ask yourself how comfort may ruin your future at the expense of an easy present. Then ask yourself if certain uncomfortable tasks may help you more in the long run.

Your comfort has the ability to ruin your drive. If you distract yourself with temporary and meaningless pleasures, it becomes harder to find the drive to be able to accomplish something.

Your life, your health, your finances and your future can improve greatly with hard work. This hard work may require sacrificing comfort. This hard work may be downright uncomfortable.

But the hard work is pivotal.

Hard work helps you achieve an easy life.

Don’t let comfort ruin your drive.
